Overview

The Prologue contains seven main quests and ten side quests. The main quests lead you from Laslea Glen into the thirty days; the ten side quests end there instead. All ten are missable.

Openings condition you to hurry. The game has just informed you that your family faces sacrifice within the month, the map opening is imminent, and hurrying feels like the natural move. That impulse costs you ten quests you can never return to.

It also wastes the wrong kind of time: Prologue side content is the most affordable to complete in the entire game, because the days have not yet begun counting against a deadline that matters.

A Mother's Plea is both hidden and time sensitive — not just a quest you might skip, but one you could miss entirely. Players who want every thread should take their time before the Prologue ends.

The general rule for the rest of the run

After the valley opens, look for the hourglass icon on quest objectives. It marks a time-sensitive objective — the game's clear sign that it will not wait.
