Overview

Every enemy profile lists a health figure plus a level curve that runs to 50. Both grow more useful once you grasp that the figure is per segment, and that the segments are unevenly distributed.

Segments multiply the number you read

Of the 84 enemy profiles, 49 carry a single health segment, so the printed figure is the entire fight. Twenty-one have three; six have five. Lacra and both of Mihai's forms have nine — more than any other profile.

Brencis has 45,716 health per segment at level 50 across three segments, making the knyaz a 137,148-health fight at the cap; Ambrus, meanwhile, has a single segment of 65,308 — a lower total, but with no pause between phases.

Day and night are the same fight for all but one

You might expect enemies to soften after dark, when you are strongest. They do not: 83 of the 84 profiles carry identical day and night curves at every level.

The nighttime edge is therefore yours alone: your form, your vampiric abilities and your traversal supply it, not some frailty the valley picks up after dark. Worth knowing before you postpone a fight in pursuit of a bonus which does not exist.

The single exception is a night creature

A single profile breaks the pattern, and only because daytime figures do not exist for it. The Castaway appears at night and never by day, so its night numbers are standalone rather than outperforming a daytime counterpart.

Heavies and rogues are mirror images

This is the most actionable fact in the enemy set. Heavy variants — bandit, human or soldier — reduce incoming physical damage by 10% and take 10% more magical damage. Rogue variants do exactly the reverse.

Read it as an instruction: bring Witchcraft to a heavy and steel to a rogue, and you shift the exchange by a full fifth without touching your build. Uriash stand apart: they reduce physical damage by 10% and offer no magical weakness in return.

The curve is steeper than the level number suggests

Ambrus climbs from 1,000 health at level 1 to 65,308 at level 50 — a factor of 65 across the run. Levels are no gentle slope here; tackling something four or five levels above your own makes it an entirely different fight, not merely a longer one.
