Blood Covenant: On the Sin of Pride

Florin argues that deeming ourselves above the bleeding — 'we are not animals', 'shaped in God's likeness' — is the grievous sin of pride.

Since it is fact that vrakhiri exist, the fact of the world, and that creation is good, it follows that the vrakhiri are righteous, and whoever opposes them opposes the divine vision itself.

Fight pride by meditating on vrakhiri might and human insignificance, on the marvels our knyaz works against your own limitations: calmness will pervade limb and spirit, for weakness brings solace and flaws bring comfort — command means torment; obedience means rapture.

Drop odds are derived from the game files and assume a fresh roll; pity bonuses and duplicate protection shift them as you play, so treat every figure as an estimate.
