Corrupted Beacon - Minecraft Dungeons II Artifact
The Corrupted Beacon is a Mage artifact in Minecraft Dungeons II that turns souls into raw power. You fire it in short bursts, or hold it for one long, soul-draining blast of ultimate power — the longer you channel, the more souls it eats, but the more devastation it pours out.
Effect and cost
The beacon has a 7-second cooldown but no fixed soul price: it drains souls continuously while firing, so the total cost depends on how long you hold the blast. That makes soul economy the real constraint — you need a healthy soul pool (or a strong soul generator) to sustain long channels. In the first Minecraft Dungeons it cost 20 souls per second of firing, and the sequel keeps the same soul-draining identity.
When to use it
Use the Corrupted Beacon when you want a flexible burst-damage tool. Short bursts handle elites and priority targets, while the full-length blast melts bosses and dense packs. Pair it with soul-positive gear like the Soul Harvester or the Twisted Tooth talisman, and consider the Soul Blast enchantment for builds that double down on soul damage.
How to get it
The Corrupted Beacon drops in Brave Haven, Honeycomb Fields and Lullaby Hills. For other Mage-archetype damage artifacts, look at the Cinder Scepter and the Winter Staff.
