Turtle Master's Mandolin - Minecraft Dungeons II Artifact

The Turtle Master's Mandolin is a rare Tank artifact in Minecraft Dungeons II. This beautiful instrument, varnished with Potion of the Turtle Master, grants resistance to all friends who catch your groove — and it holds S tier on the tier list as the best always-on defense in the game.
Effect and cost
The mandolin costs just 20 souls with a 5-second cooldown, and testing shows it cuts damage by about 50% for you and your allies — cheap enough to keep up permanently. It also increases your Soul capacity by 25%, which helps fund its own uptime. The tradeoff against the Warding Chimes is simple: the mandolin halves damage all the time, while the chimes block all damage some of the time.
When to use it
The mandolin is the forgiving defense. It appears in The Dungeon Fish's A-tier Redstone Wrecker potion engine, where the 20-soul cost is trivially funded by potion souls. Take it when you want constant, low-maintenance protection rather than perfectly timed immunity — it forgives mistakes that the chimes would punish. In multiplayer the whole party benefits.
How to get it
The Turtle Master's Mandolin drops in Howling Woods and The Deep Dark, or as a quest reward. Compare it with the Warding Chimes for full immunity, the Totem of Shielding for projectile defense, and the Humbler Antenna talisman for passive damage reduction.
