Warding Chimes - Minecraft Dungeons II Artifact

The Warding Chimes is a Tank artifact in Minecraft Dungeons II crafted from humbler husk. Their music turns your skin as thick as carapace: while the chimes ring, all incoming damage is blocked. It holds A tier on the tier list as the premier immunity tool.

Effect and cost

The chimes cost 40 souls with a 15-second cooldown. Full immunity is the strongest defensive effect in the game, but the price is real — 40 souls per use and a long cooldown mean you need heavy cooldown reduction or strong soul generation to keep it available. Mattitude runs it as his endgame defense, stretching the uptime near-permanent with the Hivemind Hardhat's +70% positive-status duration.

When to use it

Use the Warding Chimes when you need to survive what you cannot dodge. It is the answer to boss burst phases, Soul Storm chaos, and any fight where one mistake ends the run — Mattitude's S-tier Awesomeaxe crit build is built around it. Time the chimes for the moments that matter rather than firing on cooldown; immunity is wasted on empty air. Compare with the Turtle Master's Mandolin, which halves damage all the time instead of blocking it some of the time.

How to get it

The Warding Chimes drop in Brave Haven, Frozen Highlands and Honeycomb Fields. Keep your soul economy strong with the Twisted Tooth so the 40-soul cost never leaves you exposed.
