Xbox Game Pass Guide

Minecraft Dungeons II launched day one on Xbox Game Pass — but only on two tiers. Here is exactly what subscribers get and what they don't.

Which tiers

The game is included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, confirmed in Xbox's September wave 2 listing. Essential and Premium are not included at launch. All four device categories — Cloud, Console, Handheld and PC — run the same build. Xbox Play Anywhere is a separate purchase benefit and does not apply to subscriptions.

What is unclear

Whether Game Pass includes any Deluxe-edition content (Soul cape, Blub pet, hero skins, DLC 1 & 2) was not announced, and how long the game stays in the catalog is unknown. Game Pass subscribers who want the Deluxe extras need to buy the edition separately — see Minecraft Dungeons II Editions for the breakdown. For playing with friends across tiers and platforms, see Minecraft Dungeons II Multiplayer Guide.
