Player approach
Hand of a Princess is timed, with only thirty minutes on Hard. Use the Siege Onager to open a route through the forest instead of fighting every fortified approach.
Step-by-step plan
Research Forging and Scale Barding Armor, then clear the small enemy group and collect two melee recruits. Send Monks south to secure the two Elephants. At the Siege Onager, distract the defenders with the main force while the engine moves past and cuts through the trees toward Sanyogita. Keep the force moving and use the Gaia base route if reaching Castle Age would materially help the final approach.
Risks and adjustments
The timer shrinks sharply on higher difficulties. Fighting every building wastes time, and the Siege Onager must be protected while it clears a path.
