Player approach
Lepanto has a fixed Wonder foundation that must be protected from Turkish naval and land attacks. Build a capable defense first, and recruit the nearby Greek village for recurring support.
Step-by-step plan
Use the starting base to add production and a fleet before committing Villagers to the Wonder. Keep a mobile force near the shore to stop Turkish landing parties and escort ships that threaten the coast. Ally with the Greek village when the economy can afford its request; its tribute and nearby island resources can sustain the defense. Begin Wonder construction once the likely landing routes and naval approaches are covered.
Risks and adjustments
The Wonder foundation cannot be relocated, so protect its shoreline and do not leave it idle under active attack. Turkish fleets can overwhelm an early navy; avoid sending ships out unsupported.
