Overview
Repel repeated sea attacks while protecting the Korean coast. Finding Admiral Yi unlocks the Turtle Ship counterattack; after the Japanese fleet is broken, explore and eliminate its shipyards.
Player approach
Noryang Point is primarily a defense against the Japanese Navy, with transports carrying the land threat. Use Fire Ships to contest the water or relocate the core economy inland if the original shoreline cannot be held.
Step-by-step plan
Build Fire Ships early and use them to intercept Japanese vessels and transports before troops reach the settlements. Keep a small land reserve to stop any successful landing. If the coastal bases attract too much pressure, establish a well-fortified Town Center near the central cliff and shift the main economy there. When the Admiral Yi objective appears, scout the northern river with a fast unit and secure the river transport and allied force before turning back to the main defense.
Risks and adjustments
The Fire Ship plan depends on fleet numbers and careful handling around Demolition Ships. Moving inland stops much of the naval pressure but does not prevent Samurai and other raiders from reaching the new town; retain a mobile response force.
