Legionaries on the Horizon begins with a Scout Cavalry tasked to investigate two civilian villages. The Scout must survive and report back, so avoid combat and use the intended route through the guarded bridge.
Plan and execution
Move the Scout to the northwestern village first and let the Spearman’s warning reveal the danger beyond the bridge. Continue to the western village south of it, speak with the informant near the Market, then return the report to Alaric. Keep away from the three Legionary Archers and do not detour into their camp until the information objective is complete.
Risks and adaptation
The Scout has few hit points and cannot win a direct fight with the ambushers. Do not use it to attack or draw the whole patrol; prioritize visiting the villages and reporting safely.
