GUIDE · BATTLE STRATEGY
Post-fight regrouping
Regrouping prevents survivors from feeding forward individually and creates time to scout and reinforce.

Overview
Regrouping prevents survivors from feeding forward individually and creates time to scout and reinforce.
Plan and execution
Pull units to safety, inspect queues, wait for reinforcements, and select a target that matches the surviving army. Reposition siege before re-engaging.
Risks and adaptation
Waiting too long lets the opponent recover; rushing back may lose survivors. Let vision and objective pressure guide the decision.
Decision example
After an exchange, pull damaged survivors behind a Town Center, Castle, or mobile screen and inspect what the opponent still has. Replace siege and key counters first, then let reinforcements form one group before returning to the front. A wounded Archer or cavalry group can scout or guard an approach while healing or waiting, instead of feeding into a fortified position. Recheck the target: a saved resource camp, exposed Town Center, or Relic can be more valuable than repeating the same head-on attack.
