Overview

Reign of Blood is won by placing all four Relics in the four Monasteries. The mission does not require eliminating the opposing factions, so preserve the army for the objective race.

Plan and execution

Clear the incoming Jaguars before they reach Villagers, then scout routes to the Monasteries and Relics. Use the starting Eagle Scouts to check approaches and keep a mobile escort for Monks carrying the Relics. Break through the less defended side of enemy settlements when needed, but focus attacks on opening safe paths rather than destroying every base. Garrison each Relic promptly and track the remaining sites until all four are secured.

Risks and adaptation

The player cannot reach Imperial Age or build Monasteries, and defeating all opponents alone does not complete the mission. Avoid costly assaults on castles when a guarded Relic route will accomplish the objective.
