Teutonic Knight choke-point frontline
Teutonic Knight: Teutonic Knights excel when the opponent must fight them at close range. Their durability and melee strength let a compact group hold a narrow route or protect siege while the rest of the army works around the position.

Overview
Teutonic Knight: Teutonic Knights excel when the opponent must fight them at close range. Their durability and melee strength let a compact group hold a narrow route or protect siege while the rest of the army works around the position.
Plan and execution
Move them behind walls, buildings, or a supporting ranged line until enemy melee units commit. Hold a choke point or advance with siege, forcing the opponent to address the frontline before reaching vulnerable support. Use faster units elsewhere to handle raiding and pursuit.
Risks and adaptation
Archers and other ranged units can avoid the Knights’ strength and wear them down. Their slow movement makes open-field pursuit ineffective; do not send them across exposed ground without protection.
