Overview

The Avenger combines naval control, territory, and an escort victory: Sun Quan must reach Liu Biao, while at least one of the map’s Castles must remain under your control. Secure the economy and a coastal foothold before splitting the army.

Plan and execution

Choose an additional hero that complements your army, then establish food, wood, and gold income that can sustain ships and land units together. Claim a defensible Castle early and keep a reserve there while clearing a safe route across the lake. Use the navy to contest Liu Biao’s shore positions, then move Sun Quan with an escort toward the fortified northern city once the landing route is clear.

Risks and adaptation

Do not let naval attacks pull every unit away from the Castle objective. The enemy holds several strong positions and can replace losses; protect Sun Quan and retain control of a Castle throughout the crossing.
