Overview

The Golden King begins with a battle to take the Golden Palace, then becomes a fifty-minute defense against two expeditions. Ambush sites and ranged support can delay the enemy while the capped economy builds a lasting defense.

Plan and execution

Defeat enough of Quemuenchatocha’s troops to claim the Palace before the Zaque escapes with the treasure carts. Once control shifts to the central base, build food and wood income while staying within the fifty-Villager and 150-population limits. Place Ambushers at the six marked sites and support the most exposed route with ranged units or Castles. Reinforce the Golden Palace approaches before either expedition reaches it.

Risks and adaptation

The two enemies approach from different directions, so one static army may not cover both. Do not exceed the Villager cap or let the opening fight consume the units needed for the long defense.
