The Matter of the Crown asks you to escort Young Jadwiga through hostile forces before destroying two Opole Castles and reducing Mazovian troops to the required limit. Use Pikemen as her rear guard while the faster units open the route.

The Matter of the Crown asks you to escort Young Jadwiga through hostile forces before destroying two Opole Castles and reducing Mazovian troops to the required limit. Use Pikemen as her rear guard while the faster units open the route.
Plan and execution
Move north to engage the Mazovian Guards, then turn toward the Opole force and clear the barricade before reinforcements close the road. Let Pikemen cover the rear while Jadwiga and the rest of the force reach the Cathedral area, where Monks can heal survivors. Once the escort phase is stable, regroup, bring siege forward, and destroy both required Castles while tracking the remaining Mazovian soldiers.
Risks and adaptation
Jadwiga’s safety is more important than chasing every patrol. Keep cavalry from drawing the whole group away and do not eliminate more Mazovian units than the objective allows.
