The Red Hats requires bringing Ismail alive to Erzincan, and optional detours can add reinforcements before the final approach. Use an escort as the lure while keeping Ismail out of combat.
Plan and execution
Follow the western path south from the Turkoman town and use a Knight to draw attacks away from Ismail. Cross the lake and collect the available Light Cavalry reinforcement group before returning to the main route. At the fork, clear the small patrol and take the western path rather than leading Ismail into the northern cavalry and Archer ambush. Search side paths only when the escort can protect the captive, then move the full group toward the marked town.
Risks and adaptation
Ismail is weak and must survive until the target, so do not use him to tank or scout. Extra reinforcements cost time; skip optional detours if the escort is already damaged or the route is under pressure.
