GUIDE · BATTLE STRATEGY
The Walls of Constantinople tribute economy
The Walls of Constantinople asks Attila to accumulate enough gold by pressuring Roman cities. Markets, Docks, Relics, trade, and mining all contribute, so the objective does not require a single tribute method.

Overview
The Walls of Constantinople asks Attila to accumulate enough gold by pressuring Roman cities. Markets, Docks, Relics, trade, and mining all contribute, so the objective does not require a single tribute method.
Plan and execution
Use the starting resources to train Knights and raid exposed Markets or Docks for gold while keeping the army mobile. Secure Relics scattered around the map and establish trade through Marcianopolis’ two Docks when the route is protected. Mine the southern gold deposits if a safe workforce can be maintained, and threaten city buildings to force the Romans to respond.
Risks and adaptation
The Huns cannot build Markets in this scenario, so plan around raids and Dock trade. Avoid committing the entire force to a prolonged city siege when a safer gold source can complete the objective.
