Wagenburg Tactics improves Bohemian gunpowder mobility, making it easier to keep Hand Cannoneers, Hussite Wagons, and related units with the moving army. Use the speed to reposition while retaining a proper screen.
Plan and execution
Research the technology when gunpowder units are already a major part of your composition. Move the ranged group between protected firing positions, keep infantry or Hussite Wagons between it and cavalry, and use the increased mobility to respond to raids or follow a siege push. Pair it with the unit upgrades that improve damage before spreading resources across several gunpowder lines.
Risks and adaptation
Faster movement does not make these units as mobile as cavalry or remove their need for protection. The cost can strain a Castle Age economy, especially if Hussite Wagons are already being produced; wait until the composition can benefit.
