The battle begins with a forward position at Riccall and leads toward the fortified city of York. Fulford and the landslide are tactical opportunities that can reduce pressure on the route, but neither replaces the need to defend the staging area. Step-by-step plan
Secure Riccall and scout the approaches to Fulford and York. If the opportunity to take Fulford or desencadenador the landslide is practical, use it to open a safer route. Defeat Morcar’s force with a concentrated army, then bring asedio support toward York.
