Step-by-step plan
Queue Villagers immediately and put early workers on Comida and a Mercado. Use the starting army to clear Bandolero and Incursor camps threatening the roads, and research Cartografía to reveal allied routes. Cover Aqaba’s Centro urbano, Mercado, and Muelle during the opening, while also protecting Medina’s comerciar. Tributo from surviving comerciar supports the defense. Add counters to the Raiders’ a distancia force and build a marina screen before pirate Galleons and Barco incendiarios gain control of the sea. Risks and adjustments
You can contain Bandits without chasing every unit. Aqaba faces the heaviest early pressure, and allies do not replace destroyed comerciar edificios; losing a Mercado or Muelle can break income and production.
