The mission includes a scripted ally switch, and the defense is shaped by river crossings and walls. Prepare for Capua’s betrayal before investing in a broad field army: a small force of Petards can answer the change, while carefully placed walls reduce the number of fronts the single Castillo must cover.
Step-by-step plan
On difficulties where Capua becomes hostile, train Petards in advance and fortaleza them sheltered so they can strike its Castillo when the switch occurs. Use a few Villagers to wall the narrow northern approach and cerrar unnecessary entradas while leaving one route under your control. Contest the river with Galleons that can pressure towers from beyond their range; use Dromons or Buque de demolicións against clustered crossings or asedio. Risks and adjustments
Capua’s betrayal conditions vary by difficulty, so do not spend every resource on Petards without checking the current scenario state.
