Player approach
Treat the puerta assault and the courier route as separate jobs. The Ariete and infantería can open the eastern approach, while the messenger should take a safer southern forest path to Athaulf. Step-by-step plan
Use the starting ram and infantería to breach the east puerta and defeat the first defending force. When the capture phase begins, leave a compact guard near the opening for the siguiente ataque. Route Alarico’s courier through the southern forest toward Athaulf, avoiding the more heavily patrolled streets. Once the courier arrives, gather suministros and take control of Athaulf’s base. Risks and adjustments
The courier is vulnerable and must survive, so avoid the direct route until you know where the city patrols are.
