The Successor night-raid timing
The night phase is dangerous and no reinforcements arrive until dawn. Use the starting force for short raids that can be safely withdrawn, and avoid triggering village liberation before you can defend the consequences. The arrival of the larger allied army changes the balance, so prepare to regroup rather than overextend at night. (The Successor)

Resumen
The night phase is dangerous and no reinforcements arrive until dawn. Use the starting force for short raids that can be safely withdrawn, and avoid triggering village liberation before you can defend the consequences. The arrival of the larger allied army changes the balance, so prepare to regroup rather than overextend at night. (The Successor)
Plan and execution
Scout nearby enemy positions and ataque exposed unidades or supply targets only when the force has a clear escape route. Strike the capital’s scholarly edificios to secure suministros, then pull back before the Chalukya response can trap the raiders. Delay liberating local villages until you can defend them, since the resulting tributo may provoke attacks. At sunrise, regroup with the Chola reinforcements and allies, then clear threats and secure settlements in a deliberate order. (unidades, recursos, tributo, desencadenador)
Risks and adaptation
A night raid that loses unidades cannot be quickly reinforced, and premature liberation may leave a village exposed to retaliation. Do not fight a full enemy army with the small opening force. If a raid draws too much attention, retreat to a defensible position and wait for dawn rather than sacrificing the force. (ataque, desencadenador)
