Bundestag

Bundestag is an Imperial Revolution technology for the German Confederation, researched at the Capitol. It makes the Capitol generate 0.025 of the selected resource per second for each occupied population slot and reduces Factory work rate for Food, Wood and Coin by 39%.

Capitol auto gather food 0.025, wood 0.025, or coin 0.025/s for each occupied population slot; Factory auto gather work rate for food, wood, and coin -39%

Effect & research conditions

The Capitol’s trickle scales with occupied population, so a larger army increases passive income. The selected resource determines whether the Capitol produces Food, Wood or Coin. At the same time, Factories work more slowly on all three resources under the listed effect. The research takes 10 seconds; check the current Revolution’s Capitol controls and Factory output before relying on the trade-off.

When to research

Bundestag is a late-game economy adjustment. It is most useful when population is high and the Capitol income can accumulate for a long match. The Factory penalty is significant, so compare the lost production with the trickle before switching or researching. If workers can solve a shortage or an immediate shipment matters more, make that choice based on the next engagement rather than assuming the upgrade is always beneficial.

Evaluate population-scaled income beside Factory output

The Capitol’s trickle grows as more population slots are occupied, linking the technology’s return to the size of the army and economy. The Factory penalty works in the opposite direction by reducing its ordinary output across Food, Wood and Coin. A player with a large army and fewer workers may value the passive income differently from one relying on Factories. Review the selected resource and actual Factory output after the change; this is not a universal bonus to all production buildings.
