Crown Lands
Crown Lands is a Commerce Age technology reached through a Trading Post or Tambo. It adds 20 Experience to the player’s inventory for each building present on the map, up to a maximum of 10,000 Experience.

Effect & research conditions
Research costs 300 Coin and takes 30 seconds. The Experience amount is based on the number of buildings already present when the technology is researched; it does not directly create units or resources. The Inca route uses a Tambo, while other listed access uses a Trading Post. Check the shipment meter before spending Coin.

When to research
Research after enough buildings exist for the Experience reward to move the Home City meter toward a useful shipment. Early in the match the count may be too low; later, the cap of 10,000 Experience limits further value. Choose a card that will help the next phase before triggering the research.
The map’s building count sets the payout
Crown Lands converts the existing building count into Experience at a rate of 20 per building, up to 10,000. That means the timing matters: researching with a small base yields less than waiting until the map contains more structures, but waiting may delay a valuable shipment. The Inca Tambo route is an explicit access variant. Compare the expected Experience with the amount needed for the next Home City card before committing 300 Coin and 30 seconds.
