Nobles' Hut Travois
Nobles’ Hut Travois is an Aztec mobile construction unit that builds a Nobles’ Hut for free at its destination. It converts a special delivery into forward production for the Aztec army.

Role, availability & values
The Travois has 250 hit points and moves at 4.0 speed. It must reach a legal site and complete construction; the Hut’s units or technologies are available only after the building is established. The Travois is not a fighting unit, despite its military destination.
Matchup & timing
Choose a site close enough to reinforce the army but far enough from enemy siege to survive. Scout and escort the Travois on the route, then defend the Hut while it begins production. Avoid placing it where the opponent can destroy the investment before the Aztecs can use it.
Aztec Fortress-age construction reward
The Aztec Nobles' Hut Travois builds a Nobles' Hut for free and does so twice as fast as an ordinary Villager. It has 250 hit points, 4.0 speed and 20% siege resistance, and is consumed when construction finishes. Selecting The Elder at the Tribal Council can provide two Travois when the Aztecs advance to the Fortress Age or a later Age; Home City shipments can also provide two, three or four depending on the card. The completed Hut supplies the Aztec-specific military production or support available from that building, so it can shorten reinforcement routes without using the normal construction resources. It is not a frontline unit and cannot protect itself on the journey. Choose a location where the Hut will support a push or defend a strategic approach, escort the wagon, and make sure the Aztec army can hold the position once the Travois has been consumed.
Shipment quantities by Aztec Age-up
The Aztec Tribal Council reward from The Elder supplies two Nobles' Hut Travois when advancing to the Fortress Age or later. Home City shipments can also deliver two, three or four wagons, depending on the selected card. Since each one builds a Hut at twice the ordinary Villager rate, several wagons can create multiple forward production sites quickly. Confirm that the army can defend those sites and pay for the troops they will produce; multiple free Huts do not provide free unit queues.
