Role, availability & values

The wagon has 500 hit points and moves at 4.0 speed. It must reach a valid site and complete construction before the Stronghold can provide its functions. The free placement saves the ordinary building cost but does not make the wagon safe while it travels.

Matchup & timing

Scout a site that secures a route or supports the army, and ensure the force can defend the Stronghold once it is built. The Travois is slow and valuable, so escort it across contested ground. Avoid placing the building within easy siege reach unless the army can contest the approach.

Choose a defensible Stronghold site

The wagon has 500 hit points and 4.0 speed and builds a Stronghold for free at a legal destination. The building’s production and defensive functions begin only after construction finishes. Inca and Peru access makes it a valuable forward asset, so escort the wagon and place the Stronghold where troops can protect it rather than sending it alone into enemy territory.

Inca and Peru mobile Stronghold delivery

The Stronghold Travois is a construction wagon for the Inca and Peru. It builds a Stronghold for free and has 500 hit points, 20% siege resistance and 4.0 speed. The free structure saves its normal resource cost, but the wagon must still travel to a valid site and complete construction. Use it to establish a defensible production or support position where the army can hold the approaches. If the foundation is placed too far beyond friendly control, the opponent can remove the building before its military value repays the delivery.
