Craters

Overview

Water-filled craters offer limited fishing, while meteorite fragments can be mined for Gold and Stone.

Terrain and layout

A mostly flat hybrid map is marked by multiple sunken meteor craters. Each player has a crater that contains a lake, so water and land routes both matter.

Resources and control

Meteorites in the craters yield Gold and Stone. The lakes provide fish; the map also features three Sacred Sites, two Trade Posts, and a fixed Relic count by player size.

Player considerations

Scout crater access and the nearest lakes before choosing a land or water opening. Meteorites make the craters important mineral objectives, so protect workers approaching them and check whether your route exposes you to attacks from the surrounding rim.
