A random map included with Knights of Cross and Rose. Scout the river crossings and relic approaches before moving religious units forward.
Terrain and layout
A narrow, shallow river runs north to south down a multi-level map, cascading over three waterfalls. Land and ships can traverse the shallow sections, but not the falls; the lower river bends through Stealth Forest.
Resources and control
All Relics and three Sacred Sites lie on the riverbanks, with the Sites positioned at different elevations. Shore Fish is limited to the lowest section. Three Large Gold Mines line the river, while Stone concentrates toward the north and Wood is sparse away from the starting areas.
Player considerations
Scout the elevation transitions and river crossings before moving an army across the map. Docks can block the narrow channel, so place them carefully; securing the riverbanks can grant access to the Sites, Relics, and valuable Gold at once.
