The DLC also contains its own single-player content, but it is not one of the base game’s historical campaigns.
Civilizations and Historical Battles
Released on April 8, 2025, this expansion adds two playable variants: The Knights Templar, based on the French, and House of Lancaster, based on the English. Its four single-player Historical Battles are standalone Proving Grounds scenarios rather than a connected campaign: Agincourt, Towton, Safed and Montgisard. Each uses performance medals, and mission decisions can unlock a more difficult Conqueror challenge.
Skirmish maps
The ten maps added for skirmish and multiplayer are Enlightened Horizon, Flankwoods, Hedgemaze, Highwoods, Mountain Lakes, Relic River, Rugged, Shadow Lake, Wasteland and Waterlanes. The variant pages explain their distinct rosters and economy systems; each battle page lists the scenario goals and historical setting.
