Faction identity

TACP appears in the CS2 Counter-Terrorist faction roster alongside groups such as FBI, SAS and SWAT. The name identifies a model affiliation; it does not add another playable team or change the Counter-Terrorists’ objectives.

Faction identity is visual and contextual rather than a separate combat class. The model uses the side’s standard weapon choices and round objectives. Its relation to the CT roster is distinct from the Agents system, which describes the character items a player may equip.

Associated Agent models

The Wiki lists “Two Times” McCoy, USAF TACP and “Two Times” McCoy, TACP Cavalry. Their Global Offensive-era origins are Operation Shattered Web and Operation Broken Fang respectively. These releases explain the variant names and are historical context, not current CS2 acquisition instructions.

The character descriptions present McCoy as known for repeating TACP field training. The Cavalry variant adds a yellow scarf as a tribute to the 1st Cavalry Division. These cosmetic details distinguish the models without changing match behavior.

Version scope

The Wiki marks TACP for both Global Offensive and Counter-Strike 2. This page focuses on its CS2 Counter-Terrorist identity and labels the two Operation origins as earlier item history. No current acquisition route is implied.
