Map overview
Jura is a community-created Bomb Defusal map featured in Counter-Strike 2. Its CS2 record includes a period of availability followed by removal from the active pool. Treat these dates as map-rotation history rather than a change to the map’s scenario: the defining format remains Bomb Defusal, with attackers seeking a site and defenders preventing or answering a plant.
The map’s formal scenario determines how it fits into a match. Bomb Defusal connects the map’s playable space to the plant, defense and retake phases of a round. Players can browse it with other Community Maps and compare its mode with Wingman and Bomb Defusal.
CS2 availability and use
A map’s addition to or removal from a matchmaking pool is a dated availability record. It should not be confused with the map’s scenario, creator or visual setting. Map Rotations tracks those changes, while this page identifies the map and explains where it belongs in CS2.
Jura is useful to recognize when selecting or discussing its corresponding CS2 mode. Its setting and visual landmarks help players distinguish it from other entries, while the mode determines the match objective and team format. Specific callouts and current queue availability should follow the applicable CS2 version rather than assumptions from another game.
CS2 applicability
Jura is covered here as a Counter-Strike 2 map. If it also appeared in an earlier title or operation, those appearances are historical context and do not supply current CS2 queue rules. Map-pool status can change through updates; consult the dated rotation record for a particular season or release.
Performance, radar and collision fixes (August 1, 2025)
The August 1, 2025 map notes list several Jura fixes: an FPS improvement, a missing radar being added, a clipping issue being corrected, Deathmatch spawns being fixed, visibility issues being fixed, and mid prop collision being corrected. The update names the affected map and problem areas but does not quantify performance, identify the particular props or describe a changed route. These are dated technical and navigation corrections rather than a new map layout or objective.
The radar addition helps players orient themselves through the map interface; spawn corrections apply to Deathmatch placement, while visibility, clipping and collision refer to how the map is rendered and traversed. The notes do not say that Bomb Defusal callouts, site positions or mode availability changed. See Deathmatch for the mode context and use the current radar and landmarks for location calls.
