Hunter

The Hunter is a fast, hard-hitting enemy in Minecraft Dungeons II, a relentless chaser with 100 health and 200 poise. Its whole identity is speed: a movement speed of 600 means it will run down heroes who try to retreat, and it drops 12 souls when killed — more than most standard enemies, reflecting the threat.
Its moveset is one brutal melee attack dealing 40 physical damage, the hardest single hit among its region's regular mobs. There is no ranged attack and no trick to dodge — it simply sprints at you and swings. At 600 speed you cannot outrun it, so the answer is to stand your ground with a plan: dodge-roll through the swing, or root it and burn it down before it connects.
Lightning is the hard counter. The Hunter takes +50% damage from lightning, so storm bows, lightning artifacts, and Minecraft Dungeons II Enchanting Guide with lightning effects delete it. It resists blast damage by 20%, so TNT and explosive spam are below-average here — save those for the Geomancer. Because it is pure melee, ranged heroes with room to maneuver do fine; melee heroes should bait the swing and counter.
It is fought in Lullaby Hills and appears across 4 regions, with minecart stations at Illager Stronghold and Lullaby Hilltop. Treat it like a faster Trapper: never turn your back, and keep lightning ready.
