Player approach
Blood and Betrayal combines a growing land economy with hostile naval pressure. Establish the first Town Center by Berries, collect food before Farms become necessary, and keep river construction protected.
Step-by-step plan
Queue Villagers at the Berry Bushes, use nearby Pigs before expanding Farms, and shift workers to wood once food production is steady. Add Town Centers by northern gold or the southern woodline when the economy can support them. Secure the northern Relic early and recover the second after moving to the optional base. Use a small group of Archers and a Watch Tower on the northern hill to occupy enemy ships while developing the Monastery and main defense.
Risks and adjustments
Enemy navies repeatedly attack structures near the river. Keep important buildings and Villagers farther inland, and do not send Monks toward Relics without an escort.
