Player approach
France Antarctique puts pressure on an exposed base before Cunhambebe seizes it about twelve minutes into the mission. Prepare a rapid response to the Castle objective and account for the consequences of destroying it outright.
Step-by-step plan
Stabilize the starting economy and watch the Castle as the timer approaches. Keep Petards or another fast strike force ready to damage the Castle as soon as Cunhambebe takes control; meeting the scenario’s damage threshold can end his intervention before he builds up. If you choose not to trigger that early resignation, prepare to defend against attacks from the captured base while continuing to resist Durand’s pressure. Use the southern and western approaches to anticipate the two land fronts and avoid splitting the army too early.
Risks and adjustments
Destroying the Castle can break the return-base objective, while simply damaging it preserves a different mission path. Decide which outcome you want before sending Petards. The recommendations apply to Legendary and lower; higher difficulty changes the naval and siege pressure.
