CAMPAIGN · THE LAST CHIEFTAINS
Arariboia
Unite Tupi forces and negotiate rival powers along the Brazilian Atlantic coast.

Overview
Unite Tupi forces and negotiate rival powers along the Brazilian Atlantic coast.
Scenario details
Unite Tupi forces and negotiate rival powers along the Brazilian Atlantic coast. Mission order and scenario notes: 1. Exodus — The Maracajá flee their island homeland as Cunhambebe’s forces press from land and sea. Hold the route open for the refugee Carts while protecting Arariboia’s settlement; building a safe corridor first can keep the refugees out of the fighting 2. Seeds of Vengeance — Arariboia’s people break out of Cunhambebe’s encirclement and cross Guanabara Bay to rebuild. Secure the Portuguese post, choose a place to settle, then gather Tupi allies and the support needed to strike Cunhambebe 3. France Antarctique — While Arariboia faces the French invasion, Cunhambebe seizes Mem de Sá’s fortress and turns it against the Portuguese. Weaken Durand’s supply routes, then retake the fortress to break Cunhambebe’s hold as the campaign’s threats converge 4. Up in Smoke — Arariboia and Mem de Sá launch a night assault on Fort Coligny, but the first attack fails. Regroup, protect the Portuguese base, and remove the fort’s five Wooden Forts; the captured Gunpowder Cart also limits Cunhambebe’s firepower in the final mission 5. The Battle of Rio de Janeiro — Arariboia joins Mem de Sá’s defense of Rio while Cunhambebe attacks overland and the French Navy threatens the Wonder from the bay. Secure the nearby camp, protect the city, then defeat both enemy forces and cut off French ships Use the named objectives, starting setup, and mission order in this entry to distinguish it from the standard skirmish rules.
