Player approach
Khata’i begins with an ambush and then a forty-five-minute peace window amid attacks from several directions. Protect Tabriz, keep workers away from exposed northern resources, and use the Caravanserais for steady income.
Step-by-step plan
Use the Hussite Wagons to absorb the opening attack and clear the route out of the trap. Once Tabriz is secure, move Villagers to safer southern resources and build a second Town Center and Castles covering the main approaches. Research cavalry upgrades and Savar when affordable, and use Citadels to strengthen the defense. Guard all three Caravanserais because their income supports the long multi-front fight.
Risks and adjustments
Georgian raiders arrive early, before the Ottoman phase. Keep builders and miners inside the defended area, and do not spend the peace period on distant battles that weaken the later Castle line.
