CAMPAIGN · THE AGE OF KINGS
The Battle of Stirling
A small Random Map-style battle that teaches scouting, villager production, aging up, and assembling an attack force.

Overview
A small Random Map-style battle that teaches scouting, villager production, aging up, and assembling an attack force.
Player approach
The Battle of Stirling limits the player to Feudal Age and starts with one Town Center. Build the required economy first, then use an upgraded infantry group to defeat an English army that cannot replace its losses.
Step-by-step plan
Queue Villagers until the population reaches ten and place Mills, Mining Camps, and Lumber Camps beside resources. Scout west along the path to find the English base, but wait to attack until Feudal Age and the Man-at-Arms upgrade are ready. Build a force of roughly a dozen soldiers, then breach the Palisade and focus on the defenders before they can regroup.
Risks and adjustments
The player cannot advance beyond Feudal Age, so prioritize available upgrades and unit numbers. Attacking too early gives the English time to exploit the small force even though they cannot replenish it.
