Overview

Player approach
The Final Fortress begins with a two-wave field battle, after which two Vietnamese allied villages transfer to you. Use the captured bases to build an economy and eliminate at least one Ming Vanguard base before the main force arrives.
Step-by-step plan
Preserve a substantial army through both opening waves and use the arriving Elite Battle Elephants to stabilize the fight. When the allies transfer, assign Villagers to resources and add production immediately. Clear the two Ming Vanguard bases with a supported siege force, ideally before the forty-minute mark, then move toward Dong Do with the economy and army intact.
Risks and adjustments
Ming Vanguard attacks continue until a base is destroyed, so do not overboom without defense. The later main army makes delay costly; hold a reserve while the siege group works.
