A Worthy Opponent fifteen-minute buildup
A Worthy Opponent starts with a pitched cavalry fight and grants a Town Center and Villagers afterward. The following fifteen-minute no-rush period is the window to expand and prepare a Castle defense.

Overview
A Worthy Opponent starts with a pitched cavalry fight and grants a Town Center and Villagers afterward. The following fifteen-minute no-rush period is the window to expand and prepare a Castle defense.
Plan and execution
Win the opening battle, then place a second Town Center near the deer, gold, or stone that best supports your plan. Add Houses and a Dock, expand Villager production, and scout the routes the Muscovites will use. Build the first Castle along their direct northern approach, then prepare a second defensive line for later attacks and gather the army needed to counterattack when the truce ends.
Risks and adaptation
Do not treat the no-rush period as a reason to ignore defenses. The Muscovites attack along more than one route over time, so protect the first Castle’s flanks and do not spend all stone on economy.
