Overview

Atheism is a situational Hunnic Imperial Age choice for disrupting opponents who rely on Wonder or Relic victories. Its value is highest when a long match and enemy Relic income are already shaping the outcome.

Plan and execution

Research Atheism when an opponent is building toward a Wonder or controlling the Relics for a victory timer, then use the extra time to organize a raid or siege response. In a prolonged gold-scarce game, the Relic-income reduction also weakens enemy economies that depend on Relics. Coordinate the research with the Huns’ ability to pressure enemy structures and focus on the specific player whose victory plan matters.

Risks and adaptation

The technology has little impact in a match decided by ordinary conquest, so it may be better to spend on immediate military power. It is an Imperial Age Castle research and does not destroy a Wonder or capture Relics by itself; use the delay to act.
