Overview

Berserk: Berserks recover health between fights, which makes them useful for repeated skirmishes and sustained infantry pressure. Their staying power is most valuable when the player can disengage and let damaged units recover.

Plan and execution

Use a screened group to engage infantry or defend a forward position, then pull wounded Berserks behind the line rather than trading them until they fall. Return after they recover and keep reinforcements close enough to maintain pressure.

Risks and adaptation

Regeneration does not protect them from focused ranged fire or hard counters. Avoid leaving injured units in pursuit range and do not let a long recovery pause expose the rest of the army.
