Black Guards requires rescuing King Alfonso and keeping both him and El Cid alive. Bring the King to his base to take control of it, then complete the Mosque objective with a Monk.
Plan and execution
Follow King Alfonso’s Knight to the battlefield and rescue him without losing El Cid or the King. Avoid wasting the irreplaceable Conquistadors in the melee; gather the heroes and surviving army and move to the blue base so it transfers to your control. Research Redemption before sending a Monk to convert the Black Guard Navy’s Mosque, then use the acquired position to complete the remaining objectives.
Risks and adaptation
The heroes must survive throughout the mission, and Fortified Wall research is unavailable. Do not destroy the Mosque or send a Monk before Redemption is ready.
