Broken Spears is a defense of Tenochtitlan with a valuable lake fleet. Use the allied ships to suppress southern coastal production while the land army holds the city approaches.
Plan and execution
Find and control the three Gaia Turtle Ships in the northeastern lake; in Definitive Edition these are Elite Cannon Galleons. Add Fast Fire Ships to contest enemy vessels, then use the fleet against exposed Docks, Bombard Towers, and the southern Castle. Where firing range allows, pressure the Cortés and Tlaxcala Town Centers from the water. Keep the land force near Tenochtitlan and exploit the naval breathing room to reinforce its defenses.
Risks and adaptation
Bridges block naval movement, so check the passage before sending ships toward a target. Protect the specialized ships from concentrated enemy fire and do not abandon the city while the fleet is raiding.
