Overview

Chu Ko Nu gain strength in a mass and work well with frontline support such as Halberdiers or Light Cavalry. Their volleys can damage units quickly while a Siege Ram handles buildings.

Plan and execution

Build a compact group and protect it with a screen that can intercept cavalry. Focus the same target to concentrate the extra arrows, then use Siege Rams or separate siege for structures while the Chu Ko Nu clear defenders.

Risks and adaptation

A small group lacks the output of a mass and remains vulnerable to siege or a fast dive. Do not send the crossbowmen forward without Halberdier or cavalry protection.
