Opening decision and first timing
Choose the Feudal plan deliberately. A second Town Center can create a large economy if the map is safe, while cheap Stables and Archery Ranges support immediate pressure; attempting both without enough protection can leave each weak. Earlier Siege Workshop and Ram access make a forward attack possible when scouting finds an exposed base.
Composition, counters, and transition
Mounted speed bonuses and Kipchaks favor active map control after the first transition. Use a mobile force to protect or contest the resources that the economy needs, then add siege when walls or Town Centers halt raiding. A fast expansion is vulnerable before extra Villagers pay back, so keep vision of the enemy army and pause greed when an attack is coming.

Core army
Cavalry and Steppe Lancers are the clearest routes for converting early mobility into map control.
Technology & transition
Turn early space into a Castle Age lead, then keep pressure moving before opponents reach a stronger late-game position.
Watch for
The defensive toolkit is limited; scout approaches and do not let the economy expand without screening it.
