Overview

Gaiseric centers the early economy on a mobile Town Center and rewards moving south before food runs out. Avoid revealing extra threats until the first Frankish camp is defeated and the economy can support the next stage.

Plan and execution

Use the Town Center as the main resource drop-off and build only the structures needed for immediate production, since crowding the packed Town Center exposes buildings to heavy damage. Gather the nearby food, then pack up and move south as soon as that source is depleted. Defeat the first Frankish camp before scouting widely so recruited groups and Villagers transfer correctly. After settling again, recruit useful nearby units and keep moving toward the next food and resource sites rather than trying to hold an overextended northern base.

Risks and adaptation

The Huns eventually arrive with a force that is too strong to defeat directly. Do not linger in the north or waste wood on buildings that will be abandoned, and delay broad scouting until the opening Frankish objective is complete.
