Opening decision and first timing
The absence of House construction frees early attention and wood, but the smaller starting wood pool still has to cover the first production buildings. Use the smoother population growth to keep Villagers and mounted units training. Scout walls and Spearmen before sending a Scout group deep into the opponent’s base.
Composition, counters, and transition
Cheaper Cavalry Archers reward a Castle Age transition when the economy can fund continuous production and upgrades. Keep them moving away from a direct melee engagement; Tarkans can attack a different target when the opponent concentrates on the ranged group. Do not confuse a fast start with an unlimited economy: preserve gold and control replacement resources as the game lengthens.

Technology & transition
Use early mobility to secure map control and push the advantage before the late game narrows the options.
Watch for
A house-free start does not remove the need to scout or manage population; infantry upgrades are also limited.
